Baby flounder from Sea Center, UTMSI

Several of us have been working closely with Sea Center Texas at Lake Jackson and the University of Texas Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas to catch flounder for their fledgling stocking program. Shane Bonnot with Sea Center has been keeping me up to date on what is going on with the broodstock from Sabine Lake and the Galveston Bay complex. He was kind enough to send these photos in today showing their progress.

Pretty cool, huh? What do you think?

    I hope this works.
I say add a $20 dollar stamp for flounder to the license and insure all funds go directly to the hatchery program and flounder regs law enforcement.

Love the pictures! I hope they share more with us. I had to put the babies as my background, so I could watch them grow! I wish them much success with the project, and wish it was as easy with our flounder as it is with trout and redfish.
