You've gotta see this! (Captive spawned flounder)

Is that cool or what?
In Jennifer Bixby of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's (TPWD) hand is a baby flounder (5 cm) being nurtured at Sea Center Texas in Lake Jackson. I had the amazing opportunity to go there last week and visit with all of the crew working on the flounder captive breeding and stocking program.
There has been much said both true and untrue about the status of the program and I will be bringing you the truth in text, photos and video during the coming week. TPWD is working VERY hard on this project and there are some positive strides being made now.
Wanna see what's REALLY going on with the flounder stocking program? You will only get it here at Flounder Revolution.
What do you think of this little flounder? Do you support flounder stocking?

That is really great. Kudos to the Sea Center crew for working so hard on this. I know Chester has said the stocking program wont be the savior of the fishery but it will be part of multi tired solution to the program. Thanks Chester for all you do and to the Sea Center group for working so hard on this.

How cool is that??? I donated a total of 10 flounder to the Sea Center last fall. Therefore, I feel a real connection to this little fellow. Looking forward to your report. Chester, thanks for all you do.

I helped out by donating a few flounder to the program, during a tournament @ Lutes Marina this past fall and am very interested in seeing the progress that is being made.

I do support any thing that will increase flounder numbers.

It is very encouraging to see that. Now that more has been learned about raising flounder, is there any plan to expand the project so that more can be raised faster? If so , when and by how much compared to this year?
