Online Flounder Revolution Tournament is On!
As mentioned in the March 2009 issue of Texas Fish & Game, the online catch-and-release Flounder Revolution tournament is officially on. It kicked off March 1.
In an effort to promote the catch and release of the big, genetically superior breeding female flounder, Flounder Revolution is being sponsored by Texas Fish & Game magazine and Global Fish Mounts. From March-November we will be taking submissions from anglers releasing (or donating to a hatchery through a special event) flounder measuring 20 inches or more. At the end of each month, the angler who submits the largest released flounder will receive a high quality fiberglass replica of their catch produced by Global Fish Mounts.

Then at the end of the nine-month cycle, the angler who submits the most released flounder measuring 20 inches or more will be our "Flounder Angler of the Year" and receive a special trophy, a feature on your achievement in Texas Fish & Game magazine and prizes worth $1,000. The rules are available by clicking here.
There's a bunch of other stuff but that should give you the idea. This is a fun way to contribute to conservation and get you an awesome mount of your trophy flounder.
