Barlow wins Sept. replica

Just a quick note to end the week...

Angler Thomas Barlow took the flounder replica for September with his 22.25-inch fish caught and released in the Galveston Bay complex. Congrats on a fine fish and for turning back that big one to spawn more of its kind. Frank Moore caught one just over 20 last month and we had a bunch of emails of anglers catching and releasing fish in the 19-inch class. Thank you all for your acts of conservation.

Don't forget Sat. Oct. 17 we're doing a flounder roundup on Sabine Lake with details coming in the middle of next week.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Get out there and compete for that October replica fish and "Flounder Angler of the Year". For details click here.

Congrats. to Thomas. He does alot for flounder conservation. Thomas and his wife have donated numerous fish to the Sea Center Texas flounder program for restocking.
