Monday...err...Tuesday Flounder Update: Lots of flatfish goings on
Greetings Fellow Flounder Fanatics!

I'm late on sending out the Monday update due to tons of things going on with work, family and life in general. But here we are this week we have lots to talk about.
First of all, congratulations to Kaylin Barlow for winning the October replica competition. Her husband Thomas won September so this duo will have two beautiful flounder replica on the wall. Last month we only had one 20-inch plus entry but we had close to a dozen anglers reporting releasing fish in the 18-19 inch category so the goal of putting bag big flounder so they produce more of their kind is being met. The Flounder Revolution is truly taking hold of the Texas angling community. Thank you all so much.

Texas Fish & Game magazine has greatly upgraded its website and has a huge video section up. There are tons of videos from the ICAST show featuring new tackle for 2010 and also a video up of a flounder seminar I did at Fishing Tackle Unlimited. You can check it out by clicking here.
There is also a new forum up here. I will be doing a lot of my flounder discussions there and would love to have you sign up (free and easy) and talk all things fishing.
I have officially booked what could be the biggest event ever put together specifically for flounder for September 2010. I'll give out the dates and location early in 2010. I promise this will be a totally unique event that will not only give you more information on flounder and flounder fishing than you will find anywhere but will raise funds for the flounder stocking program.
Flounder fishing is heating up along the coast with good reports coming from Lake Calasieu and the marshes between there and Sabine Lake as well as Galveston Bay. If you have good reports feel free to post them here. We would love to share it with everyone.
