Flounder Revolution: Special drawings, giveaways at Fishing Show
I will also be speaking at the Houston Fishing Show 2 p.m. Saturday (March 6).
The first 50 people that show up at this seminar will be put in a special drawing for a guided trip on Sabine Lake with me and a licensed captain. It's a trip for two. Show up early and bring friends. It will be a killer event plus you have a good chance of winning the trip.
In addition, those who bring a printout of this blog or come up to me before 2 p.m. and say Viva Revolution will be put in a special drawing for a rod and reel combo and a special tackle package courtesy of Steve Walko and Texas Rattlin' Rig. I don't care if there are two or 20 in this one, whoever brings a printout or exclaims Viva Revolution will be put in this special drawing that is separate from the guided trip.
You don't want to miss this seminar. Get ready for something really unique and exciting on flounder, specks and reds.
Fishing Reports
Fishing reports have been few and far between with the weather being so weird but I expect some flounder caught this weekend. I know for a fact they are already coming into Galveston, Sabine and Calcasieu (Big Lake). Will we get a replica fish reported over the weekend?
I know there are a few anglers on the lookout.
As a bonus, the first angler who turns in a fish that qualifies to be registered for the replica program (doesn't have to be the monthly winner, just the first fish that is 20 inches or better) wins a special Flounder Revolution package with two of my new Flounder Revolution decals, a signed copy of my book Texas Trout Tactics and a flounder soft plastic lure package.

Chester, I am so disappointed that I wasn't able to make it to the Fishing Show last Saturday after looking forward to it so much since I first heard about it. I pulled a lot of muscles in my right hip and groin area on March 2 trying to dig weeds out of my garden. I was on crutches and a cane and absolutely could not walk, and it didn't clear up until three days ago.
