October begins with two big releases, Flatfish University
Greetings fellow flounder fanatics!
October has kicked off the Flounder Revolution replica tournament with two quality (and beautifully marked) entries, both coming from Sabine Lake.
First up is Marcus Heflin's 21.5-incher caught fishing a chartreuse-colored soft plastic grub.
The next entry comes from Justin Hawkins who is currently second place in our "Flounder Angler of the Year" competition. He has earned two replicas, one in 2009 and one this year. His latest entry measures just over 20 inches.

Don't forget the biggest flounder event anywhere on the Gulf Coast this year debuts Sat. Oct. 9 and it is FREE.
When: Sat. Oct. 9
Where: Fishing Tackle Unlimited (12800 Gulf Freeway @ Fuqua, Houston, TX)
Cost: Event is FREE
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
