Flatfish University scholarships, Roundup at Sea Wolf Park
Greetings fellow flounder fanatics!

Flatfish University (TM) will be the major focus of my public appearances regarding flounder in 2011 and beyond. These events are exclusive, intensive and will require a fee to attend.
I however want youth to be able to participate in them at some level so I am setting up scholarships for each event. I will leave an open slot for a young person ages 12-17. This spot will be free to the youth.
I will comp the youth interested in participating in the event as I believe kids that age will be able to handle the curriculum and can learn from the teachings.
If you have a kid interested in attending or maybe are already attending the sold out Feb. 12 Beaumont event at Gander Mountain and would like your kid to attend with you, email me the following information to cmooreoutdoors@yahoo.com.
Youth's Name:
Adult Point of Contact (Parent, Guardian, Grandparent, etc.):
Adult's Email:
Age:
Angling Experience: (Years)
Reason for applying: (I would like this to be answered by the kid. It doesn't have to be fancy but simply a statement of declaration they are serious about learning and wanting to attend the event.)
It is important we reach as many young people as possible and create the next generation of flounder stewards. That is the point of the First Flounder program and this is the next step up from there. There will eventually be a youth Flatfish University event as soon as I have time to seek a sponsor but for now we begin with this.
There will only be 1 youth chosen per event. Scholarship application information will go out as each event is announced.

Galveston Flounder Roundup Saturday
There will be a flounder roundup hosted by Flounder Pounder Sat. (Dec. 4) 7 a.m.-3 p.m. at Sea Wolf Park in Galveston. The crew from Sea Center Texas will be on hand to take live donations of flounder. For more information on the event, contact Flounder Pounder at flounderpounder1@comcast.net. All fees of Sea Wolf Park will be enforced. Anglers must adhere to state size and bag limits which is five fish in possession.
God bless,
Chester Moore
