Die wind die!
Greetings fellow flounder fanatics!

Is it me or is the wind the most of any spring in recent memory?
It blows every spring but reports along the coast show it 25 plus miles an hour many days with virtually no letup. It is hard to catch anything in those kinds of conditions so for many anglers, including myself, it has shut down much of the flounder fishing.
The wind simply needs to die. Quickly.
Enough of that. Here are a few updates.
April Replica
No one took our April replica fish. There were reports of 19-inchers but no one turned in a fish that measured 20 inches or more. As soon as the winds cease a bit we'll get more entries.
Flounder Blogs/New TF&G Blog
I am doing a new blog at fishgame.com that seeks to help anglers in real world conditions. I have done two that apply to flounder fishing this spring and both are pretty unique. Make sure and check them out. Here are the links.
