More weird flounder, special taxidermy discount, replica winner
Greetings fellow flounder fanatics!
In our Monday we updated we looked at a bizarre flounder caught on Sabine Lake by Kirk Blood. The flounder's bottom side looked like its top side save for the head.
Our 2009 Flounder Angler of the Year Chris Dial submitted these two photos of a small flounder he caught that had the same sort of issues. Check them out.

Thanks for Chris for sharing these cool shots.
May Replica Winner
Case Williams is the winner of our May flounder replica. For catching and releasing a 20.625-inch flounder on Sabine Lake he earns a replica of the catch from The FIsh Mount Store. From March through November, the angler who catches, releases, photographs and documents the largest flounder 20 inches or more gets a replica. Congratulations Case!

Fish Mount Store Discount
Ken Laudadio who does an amazing job on the flounder mounts to our replica program from his business The Fish Mount Store has a great deal for us.
When you order one of his mounts (doesn't have to be a flounder) you get a 15 percent discount by putting in the code word "Revolution" at checkout. Many of you have commented on the mounts that you have seen me bring out to various events over the last two years.

Tech Tip
With winds howling like they have been and our bay systems murky, focus efforts on areas that have patches of clearer water. While I do not like super clear water, if you have water so murky you can't see your lure or bait under two inches of water and then you find a spot where you can see down six inches, fish the latter area. You stand a much better chance of scoring on flatfish.
God bless,
Chester Moore
