Flatfish University (New flounder gear course available)

Greetings fellow flounder fanatics!

Back in April I announced a very special, very limited Flatfish University (TM) course on flounder gear. Limited to only 15 people it sold out when I announced it at the Sea Center Texas event and I never had a chance to promote it.

Well, due to popular demand I am offering the same course for 15 more people Sat. August 20 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Gander Mountain in Beaumont, TX. The detailed description of the course is listed below and for all of you who want to learn more about gear, this will be a game-changing course. I am leaving for the ICAST Show in Vegas Tuesday and will bring back the very latest details on gear on top of the many years of trying virtually everything on the market.

Here's a teaser...

I have in my hands an entirely new class of line, not braid, no fluoro, not mono. Cool, huh? And yes, you can check it out at the event.

The course costs $39.95 and includes curriculum. Additionally once you sign up for a Flatfish University (TM) course, you become "alumni" and get in on special deals and always get an offer to buy in to a class before others get a shot and at a discount.

In fact, we only have 10 of the 15 slots left due to those who bought in on the alumni sale.

So if you want to get in on the class and book before it sells out, do it now. Send $39.95 via PAYPAL to cmooreoutdoors@yahoo.com or a check to Moore Outdoors, 101 Broad St. Orange, TX  77630. If you send a check, please email me so I can hold the spot. Additionally if you have any questions email me at that address.

The demand is high so book now. It will sell out.

Here's more on the class...

Gear, Riggings and 2011 ICAST Tackle Review: Get a highly detailed looked at flounder fishing gear and tackle riggings. Learn everything from the best knots to how to customize your rods to a look at all the major brands of mono, fluorocarbon and braided lines. A unique in-depth look at lures as well as components for live bait fishing will also be included. As a bonus anglers will get a fresh look at flounder fishing gear for 2012 as Chester Moore will have a special report from the ICAST Show (the previous week) in Las Vegas. Class is limited to only 15 attendees due to amount of hands-on instruction needed.  Taught by award-winning outdoors writer/conservationist and flounder expert Chester Moore.

And don't forget, once you sign up for one of our courses (as of Jan. 1, 2011) you become part of the alumni of Flatfish University (TM). This not only gives you a chance to get in on courses early and at big discounts but it also gives you access to a password-protected page of flatfishuniversity.com where there are exclusive videos, photos, etc.

Note: Look for special ICAST report later this week as well some news on the state's flounder stocking program and a very special TECH TIP.

Dream BIG and fish with intensity!

Chester Moore

Hmmm. Could it be NanoFil? Fused polyethylene. The latest and greatest from the good folks at Berkley. Have you tired it yet? Does it make the scrubbing sound on the rod guides like braid? Does it fray like braid? I love to find one of these new "superlines" I could learn to love. Hasn't happened yet.
